The hotel gave a lot of surprises. The performance after sunset was very ceremonial, with strong Sri Lankan local dances and songs, allowing you to immerse yourself in the teardrop of the Indian Ocean.

The hotel is really special. There is no sign on the door. I thought I was in the wrong place, haha.
Facilities: The sea view room is very good. There is a separate path leading directly to the seaside. There are two showers in the room, and you can also take a shower outside.
Hygiene: On rainy days, some small bugs would crawl into the room. One night, I was scared to death that there was a big bug on the bed.
Service: The hotel has a beach bar, and the food is served very slowly. The Coconut King tastes terrible, so order with caution.

Like Ctrip with real name: First, I booked another hotel in Trincomalee, but the store told me that there was no room. There is nothing to say about the service. I had a beach seafood BBQ for dinner, $190 for two people (not including tip)

Unsere zwei Wochen im UGA waren sehr wohltuend und stimmig von A - Z. Eine Beach Cabin mit Halbpension würden wir empfehlen und wieder bevorzugen! Einerseits lebt man harmonisch im Einklang mit der Natur, und andererseits fehlt es einem in puncto Komfort an gar nichts. Die Servicekräfte sind allesamt sehr freundlich und geben ihr Bestes. Hervorzuheben als oustanding ist Assan!

It was a great experance for me and my wife thanks to Tari and Julia during our stay at Uga jungle beach . We had a couple massage with body scub. Both the girls are very skilled and very professional during the whole time since we walked in to the spa. We highly recommend to anyone who stay in Uga jungle beach

The service was outstanding and the position of the bungalows on the beach was prefect. The cleanliness also was noticeable after coming from Jaffna where the rubbish in the environment was troubling. Our room also was exceptional. The overall hotel could do with some maintenance. Whilst we understand the challenges the weather and environment poses, the state of the boardwalk around the main pool and the mould or dirt on the main pavilion ceiling needs attention. The food - breakfast was excellent; tasty and plentiful. Unfortunately we did not find value for money at dinner time. Our meals on the first night were not great. The fish was overcooked and the kothu roti was tasteless. The cost of the seafood per 100g was four times the cost of home so we ventured outside the hotel for the rest of our evening meals. Overall however we would come back again as the facilities, staff and position of the hotel were all excellent.
